Spring is here

Sorry it has been so long since I posted. We have had a busy few months. We moved into a new apartment and a long the way I slacked on the pictures. It doesn't help that Bailey is in a state of constant motion and it's hard to get a good picture of her b/c she refuses to sit still! We have had some great weather lately so I was finally able to get some good pictures of her at the park. She's is becoming quite the independent young toddler. As I said before she is chasing the cats everywhere, babbling more (although still no mama) and she cut a molar...which was a nightmare for her and me! Enjoy the photos!

Bailey's Birthday!

A year has gone by, I can't believe it! Our little girl is 1 and she is becoming quite the character. She had a bout of RSV after Christmas and had to go on albuterol treatments. Well the steriods turned her into quite the eater. Before she got the RSV she wouldn't eat anything. Now, she's finishing 4 ozs. of solid foods easily plus some other stuff...it's insane. She also decided to start walking. She's still a little tentative but I have a feeling in a week the cats will be getting no peace! We had her birthday party at the Safety Harbor City Park with friends and family. It was a beautiful day, sunny and in the high 60's. Bailey had a great time swinging on the swing, trying to eat leaves and dirt and helping the other kids play with her presents. She really didn't know what to make of her cake. Daddy had to get her to stick her hands in it and when we gave her some frosting she almost gagged it up....she definately doesn't get that from me...I love my sweets!

Christmas

We had a good Christmas. On Christmas eve we went to my mom's for some Chinese food...Bailey let us stay until 7:00 PM and then she turned into a pumpkin and we had to go home. On Christmas morning, my mom came over to our place and we opened presents. Bailey was more interested in the boxes then the toys...go figure!! Finally, that afternoon we went to my Aunt and Uncle's in Land 'O Lakes. Bailey had fun playing with her cousin Maddie and Maddie's new bike. I even caught them sharing a bottle...they were too funny! All is all a good Christmas.

11 months old

So, I'm a little late with the 11 month photos..but there have been lots of visitors and with the holidays we have been quite busy. Bailey has become quite the personality...she's in the middle of a 3 week hunger strike on anything that I have to feed her...she only wants to feed herself. She's breaking in a few teeth and beginning to look like she is going to take some steps. She is saying da da pretty consistantly, although I don't know if she knows it's Brad yet. She does know mommy and daddy and looks at us when we ask where's mommy or daddy? She's just starting to fit into her 12 months clothes. Here are a few pics...I'll have some Christmas ones too soon.

I had mentioned that our good friend Dave took some pictures of Bailey over Thanksgiving break while we were in S. Carolina. We got our disc today and I wanted to share some of the pictures! He did a great job...and it's always nice to be photoshopped!!!!

First Santa Photo

Before Thanksgiving my mom was at the mall with Bailey and Santa was there...I have no idea why he was there that early, but I told my mom to go ahead and get Bailey's picture taken so that we didn't have to wait in the crowd. She was hesitant at first to sit with Santa by herself, but amazingly we got an awesome picture! He's a good Santa too...I think the beard may be real! The dress that Bailey is wearing in the picture is the dress that I wore for my first picture with Santa...yup that thing is over 30 years old!
